Lords condemn “wholly inadequate” delivery of government’s life sciences strategy

Delivery of the government’s much vaunted strategy for life sciences is “incoherent and wholly inadequate,” a House of Lords select committee has concluded.1

In an unusually hard hitting report the Science and Technology Committee said that the plans showed complicated arrangements for implementation, a lack of clear authority and accountability, and a failure to engage the NHS effectively.
