" a large compressive multinodular goiter " ?

Did this patient have a proper physical examination to begin with?!!!

It is bewildering that such a goiter needed a ctscan to reveal it when a simply good physical should have set the trail and made it less occult.

A good thoracic inlet radiograph might also have helped.
