Two siblings have won £13m (€18m; $19.2m) in compensation for mistakes made at their births in the same UK hospital 17 months apart that left them both needing lifelong care.

The NHS Litigation Authority has agreed a £7m package for Natasha Jackson, now aged 24, five years after agreeing compensation of £6m for her 22 year old brother, Patrick. Both have cerebral palsy.
