You are right in your analysis of the cause of our present financial situation, and you are right that the government will continue to take money from the public purse, which is likely to find its way to those who caused our present problems. But the doctors' strike will have no effect whatever. The politicians will spin it so that it looks as if doctors are greedy, and the media will spread the spin. The government will not shift at all. No one will be sorry for us but we will have lost some of our good will with the public.
