Patricia Ripoll

Patricia Ripoll is a dynamic and dedicated advocate for patients' rights and improved healthcare experiences. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Management from the University of Barcelona and a PDD in Executive General Management from IESE Business School.

Patricia has an extensive professional background, having served as Commercial Director in the pharmaceutical, cosmetic, FMCG, and perfumery sectors both domestically and internationally. This diverse experience equips her with a comprehensive understanding of the healthcare industry, allowing her to effectively bridge the gap between business and patient-centric care. As the Founder and President of the VISIBLE Foundation, Patricia is committed to making invisible illnesses visible and addressing associated issues. Her foundation focuses on elevating the voices of patients and promoting the importance of co-creation and co-conception in healthcare.

In addition to her role at the VISIBLE Foundation, Patricia is the Chief Patient Officer at various public entities, hospitals, and startups. She collaborates with the World Health Organization in various committees, serving in advisory roles, as a reviewer, and as a voice for patients. Her contributions to the WHO include providing insights and feedback on brain health and other critical health issues, ensuring that patient perspectives are integral to global health policies and initiatives.

Patricia is the visionary behind several impactful initiatives, including MamaTieneMigraña, BeOriginal.es, and co-founding COVIDWarriors and AIREAMOS.org. These platforms address
critical issues in healthcare and amplify patients' voices and their experiences. Her dedication to patient advocacy has been recognized with numerous awards, including the prestigious Prize of the Catalan Society of Neurology in 2022 for her outstanding work in disseminating knowledge about neurology and promoting social awareness, particularly in support of migraine patients and their families. Patricia's extensive experience, passion for patient empowerment, and leadership in healthcare advocacy make her an indispensable force in shaping the future of patient care and visibility.

Patricia is multilingual, speaking Catalan, Spanish, and French as mother tongues, and English
at an advanced level.
